For an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join a team of engineers, in a role that you can make your own, you will playing an integral part in evolving and shaping on-going digital transformation products.
Full Time: Permanent role
Location: Solihull – B37 (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £50,000, dependant on experience

What it's all about…
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Develop and enhance ecommerce and cloud-based platforms, adding value to stakeholders
- Lead on projects seeing them from conception through to delivery
- Collaborate with the engineering team to scope technical enhancements to digital products
- Maintain and optimise existing code, deploying fixes and general improvements
- Support the technical discovery of new initiatives
- Use data and insights to generate ideas for platform enhancements
- Partner with external providers to lead on initiatives to drive technology forward.
- Collaborate with various teams to align the requirements to ensure seamless integration
- Represent the engineering team in meetings, presenting project updates
- Investigate emerging technologies and serve as a technical authority
What we will need from you…
- Demonstrated expertise in building responsive, accessible, and user-friendly websites/applications
- Expertise in modern JavaScript, React, and TypeScript
- Expert knowledge of HTML and CSS/SCSS, and familiarity with UI/UX design principles
- Understanding of creating and maintaining reusable components
- Experience in developing APIs, along with experience in integrating 3rd party services
- Familiarity with Shopify and monorepo development environments
- Understanding of JAM Stack architecture, headless CMS systems and CI/CD workflows
- Solid understanding of factors that affect website performance and ability to implement recommended optimizations
- Motivated to stay updated with the latest techniques and best practices in frontend development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effectively communicating with various audiences.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
- Ability to think quickly and comprehend problems before devising effective solutions.
