We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a fabulous real estate investment organisation who are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and strategic Business Development Manager to join its fast-growing team and support in driving sales and the business forward.

Reporting directly to the head of operations, the Business Development Manager role will involve:

  • Responsible for the development and monitoring of business plans and strategy.
  • Support the team in reaching individual and team goals.
  • Account management of existing accounts and the acquisition of new corporate accounts.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Awareness of industry developments within activity and market trends.

You will be expected to maintain and build relationships with many different people internally and externally.

Location: Bromley.

Type: Full-time.

Hours: Monday to Friday (office-based) – hours are flexible.

Salary: £33,000 (plus commission).

To be considered for this Business Development Manager position, you are required to have recently worked in a similar sales position within the hospitality industry.

The Business Development Manager’s responsibilities consist of, but are not restricted to:

Creating business plans and sales strategy to meet company goals.

Maximise operating results ensuring an increase in market share.

Increase sales performance of corporate customer portfolio.

Initiate and coordinate action plans to effectively find and penetrate new markets.

Report and maintain information on sales and activity.

Assist in marketing campaigns to promote sales and marketing activity.

Adhere to all company policies and business ethics ensuring they are implemented amongst the team.

To be successful in gaining an interview for this strategy Business Development Manager role, we are looking for someone who has:

Proven experience within a business development or sales role within hospitality.

Experience of supplier relationship management.

Strong understanding of customer and marketing dynamics.

Proven leadership skills and ability to drive sales revenue.

The ability to relate to and build relationships with all professionals in the field.

Able to prioritise and identify solutions in a timely manner.

Excellent personal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
