On behalf of our fabulous client, we are searching for an enthusiastic and friendly Business Development Manager to join their established and growing team with over 100 years of specialising in the processing, sale and recovery of precious metal for the industrial, automotive, aerospace sectors!

Reporting to the Head of the Industrial department, the Business Development Manager will be joining the existing industrial team where you will play an integral part in actively building new relationships as well as enhancing existing ones in the industrial market, and identify and drive new business opportunities into fruition!

Full time: Permanent role, Mon - Fri (Hybrid)

Location: Birmingham, B1

Salary: Up to £45,000

What it’s all about…

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial field
  • Develop and implement strategies to generate new leads and expand customer base
  • Build relationships with stakeholders within the industry
  • Work along side the operations team in order to align service offerings
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create solutions to drive business growth
  • Measure and track the success of the business development and adjust strategies as required
  • Attend industry events, conferences and networking opportunities

What we need from you…

  • Proven track record of successful industrial related business development
  • Experience of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Sales experience, and strong understanding within the industrial market
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to negotiate and solve problems
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data driven decisions
